Why may the transaction price exceed expectations?
When you try to execute an order, if you receive a “quote exceeds” prompt, this usually means that the transaction cannot be traded at your expected price. This can cause some trouble for some traders, but this is quite common in extremely liquid markets such as forex.
The reason why the forex market attracts many traders is because of its excellent liquidity and almost uninterrupted trading hours. However, it is worth noting that even in such a market, there may be a “price slippage” phenomenon, i.e. there is a deviation from the expected price, which may surprise traders.
In fact, price slippage occurs from time to time even in markets with sufficient liquidity. As one of the most liquid markets in the world, the foreign exchange market still has frequent price fluctuations. Therefore, every trader should be prepared to deal with situations where trading may not be able to trade at the expected price.
